What’s good folks?! Happy Mother’s Day mom!! =)

And of course, also to all you other mamas out there!! Make sure to raise ya kids right. Whoop those mother fuckers’ asses if you have to!! HAHA! I used to get my ass BEAT…there were no such things as spankings or time outs…i got BEAT.  Seriously tho…keepin’ it old school might get you in some serious trouble, so don’t do all that.  But some of these kids these days have some nasty attitudes…y’all need to check your kids.

So I hope everybody had a great weekend. I didn’t do too much myself…alot of friends were out of town for Mother’s Day, so me and the homie just posted and watched playoff games all weekend. Quite the competition this year. Congrats to Kobe for his MVP honors, but I’m a Lebron fan, so GO CLEVELAND!! He’s been in a slump this series, but luckily the rest of the team pulled through in Game 3 and spanked on the Celtics. Boston is obviously the favored team, but I’m not trippin’ if they win cuz I’ve always liked KG and would like to see him win a ring…Lebron has plenty of time…he’s gonna go down as the greatest player to have ever played HA!

Anyways, Monday is back! And guess what this this Friday is…FASHION FLOOD!! Come out and show your support. There’s gonna be a bunch of up and coming streetwear brands giving away all kindsa free shit!! And you already know I’ll be raffling off some FRESH Jordans and a shitload of shirts…and don’t forget we’ll have beater tanks for girls!!! Check out the flyer…

Just to let you know that we really DO have a gang of J’s to give away, here’s a nice photo of ONE of the stashes…

So my nephew, Kingston, was out here from Phoenix and had his first birthday this past Saturday.  I thought I’d share what I bought my little munchkin.  Uughhh whatchu know about that??  Haha…his first pair of chucks!!  Man, I miss that kid already!

Other than that, we had a fatass kick back for a homie’s birthday that same night…and MAN, that was quite the night of drinking…amongst other things… =)  It’s now midnight, on Sunday night, and I am still dealing with the aftermath of it…NOT COOL.  But check out this picture of the other homie, Bam-Bam.  He had a hangover too!! HAHA.  Not from drinking, of course, but from being a soldier and partying it up with everybody until the early morning.  He actually woke up, yacked, and literally laid around ALL day.  Haha…you gotta know him to undertstand…goofiest dog in the world HANDS DOWN!

Well, it’s Monday again and a crazy week lies ahead.  Back on the road I go.  See you somewhere!!

What’s good everybody?!

A new entry is far overdue and I apologize for the long wait. I mean that!! =) There’s been a lot going on over the past several weeks and I’m finally able to take a quick breather to fill you guys in. So fellas pause the porn and put your johnsons away, and ladies hang up the phone and hold your shit talking about men…I want your undivided attention!

Aside from grindin’ away for SP, I did do some fun stuff during that time. For one, I hit up the Thai Festival in Hollywood. It was a hot ass day, but the Singha was refreshing, the food was delicious (larb and papaya salad MMM), and we caught a bunch of Muy Thai fights. I was also fortunate enough to go see Mary J and Hovito, but Hov didn’t really bring it like I expected him to. He just kinda performed…bleh. Mary was SICK, tho! Mr. Louis Vuitton Don, on the other hand, did the damn thing at his Glow In The Dark concert!! The others that night were okay for me, but Kanye? That MF knows how to put on a damn show! I’m not even a big fan of his, but that shit was out of this world…LITERALLY (those that saw it know what I mean)…

So anyways, back to business. Despite the long and strenuous, often random hours of driving and sitting in traffic ALL over So.Cal, things are looking fan-fuckin’-tastic for Sanz Pareil. The hundred dollar fill ups on my Expedition are well worth the results and progress of the hard work I’ve been putting into the business. So here’s a run-down of what’s been going on…

For one, say hello to our new partner “Steve”. He has recently jumped on board with SP, cuz he knows our shit is about to CRRRRRACKKKK!!! Haha. What up Steve-O?! Quick shouts to the partner “Wang”, our graphics man “Joe”, and our STREET FAM-BAMMERS “riCO” and “David”!! Keep doing your thing!! You already know what it is!! And last but not least, a special thanks to the homie “Bong” at Long Beach Prophets for letting us in on Fashion Flood. It was a cool event, diverse crowd, had our banner above the stage, but we just gave away a shit load of shirts and boned the fuck out.

Now, as I have mentioned before on the last blog on our Myspace page, we will be featured at a fashion event on May 16th at a venue in Long Beach. The exact time and location will be announced soon. This time, it will be 21 and over. Please come out and show your support! We’ll be giving away A LOT of shirts…INCLUDING BEATER TANKS FOR GIRLS!!! What?!? For Girls?!? I did NOT just say girls!! YES, I DID!! So come get some!! You’ll also get the very first look at our 4 new designs, so don’t miss it…they are fire! They will be available for purchase here at www.sanzpareil.com the following week.

You know what else? If you’ve been keeping up with SP through our Myspace, you know that we have a closet FULL of brand-spankin’-new retro Jordans in various colors and sizes to give away. Well for one, we will still be raffling a pair periodically through our website to our lovely customers and I will announce that first pair here in a minute. But check this out >>> I’ve decided to take a couple pairs with me to Long Beach on the 16th to raffle them off there!! Are we gonna charge anything for the raffle tickets? HELL NO. Other than that, I’ll be making some special pieces (shirts) for my folks up in Frisco and down in SDeezy, so stay tuned. I’m down in Daygo every so often, but my next trip will probably be after the SD piece is done. As for the YAY AREA?! Man, I probably haven’t been up there in over 2 years or so…my visit is long overdue…I will be coming through with a piece for you guys as well.

As for the bigger size runs, the first 4 designs won’t be done for a hot one, but all the new designs AND the logo tee will be available in double and triple XL. Like I mentioned before, you small and medium ass mo’ fuckers need to speak up…I haven’t gotten any requests for the smaller sizes yet. The girl beaters will be available in S, M, L, and XL.

What’s crackin’ people?!

For all of you that have been in tune with our Myspace page, you obviously know that I’ve been blogging there, so please excuse me as we reintroduce ourselves to those that are new to Sanz Pareil (the HOTTEST up and coming streetwear brand haha).

Simply put, we are a brand-spanking-new street-fashion-brand, diving into a street-fashion-brand infested ocean, which we call the “street-fashion-industry” today. The saturated competition in the game is obvious, however, we’re still cannon-balling fearlessly off our diving board, cuz we got some fresh shit to lace you with!

Most importantly, our products stem from our genuine interest and appreciation for ALL different cultures and subcultures that exist in the world today. We feel that no matter what a person’s way of life, with a little understanding, you can always find a little appreciation. And with this open mind and open heart, we truly desire to accept everybody as a brother and sister (well, almost everybody…but u get the point), so we hope that we can expect the same from all of you (not only to us, but towards “everybody”)

So anyways, our first line of t-shirts have been out for several weeks and our webstore has finally launched. Shit’s been pretty damn hectic and we did fall a bit behind schedule. You see, we decided to start this venture back in October and had set a goal from the get-go, to have everything in place and our clothes out by the end of January. BUT, when we made that decision, we didn’t have a fucking clue as to what we were supposed to do, or expect. We just knew what we wanted and we were gonna make it happen. So the first few months turned out to be a piece of cake (paperwork, legal shit, making phone calls, bla bla bla)… BUT MAN, once other people started getting involved, orders were being placed, checks were being cut, credit cards were being charged, deadlines were being set, etc., it became one hell of a ride, especially being the newbies we are.

Well, we’ve been rocking and rolling since. It’s been about 6 months since we started this thing and there were times when it felt as if things were moving along pretty quickly, and DEFINITELY times when it felt as if shit wasn’t moving at all. And although we don’t know what the “standard” is, we feel that we’ve done a damn good job in those 6 months….almost impressive. Ok, I admit, we are impressed with ourselves haha. But don’t get it twisted…we are very humble people and know that this is only the beginning and we have a looooong ways to go.

We still have much to learn about the game, so please be patient and grow with us through our mistakes. All we know is that we do this out of love and for the love, so I guarantee you, you will not be disappointed with what we put out. So in the meantime, go add us on myspace, leave comments, give us some kudos and what not, message us, talk shit (yes, it’s all gravity baby), or just politic and get some shit off your chest…anything is open game… Comments on this blog are anonymous, but please ID yourself with something so that I can address my response back to you!  Please DO NOT hesitate to praise us, make suggestions, criticize, etc. because we represent YOU!  We need your input to fuel and drive our business!!
