King James, bitch!

Alright, I just HAD to write about this one. So “Bron Bron” (i.e. Lebron James), as you know who is my #1 new school player (Shaq being my #1 of all time), lit up Madison Square Garden last night with a RIDICULOUS triple double. The super-human-man-child clocked 52 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds and set a record high points for a triple double since the ABA-NBA merger. But not only that…he added 2 steals, shot 50%, and was 16/19 from the charity stripe!!

Poor D’antoni and the Knicks. Just two nights prior, Kobe had dropped 61 on em haha. Whatever though. He can stick that 61 up his ass after what Lebron did. Props to the man for his performance, but you know I had to throw that in there as a Kobe hater. The upcoming playoffs are gonna be one for the ages…can’t wait!

Check out some highlights…

What did Spike have to say about all this?

So the Lakers took a W over the Celtics today by just one point in OT, denying Boston’s top spot in the league standings. I believe they’ll be closing their 6 game road trip against Cleveland this Sunday. The Cavs are the only undefeated team at home (23-0) and finally have the Big Z back to put some size in the middle. They do have a few other injuries on the bench, but with Bynum out (8-12 weeks), the Cavs should take over the paint.

Peace, “BK”

Oh yea, and the Super Bowl is the one football game I won’t miss all season, and I must say, 43 was quite the exciting one. Harrison’s 100-yd touchdown off the INT??

Now as you may, or may not know already, I’m a DIE HARD fan of hip hop.  NO, not hip POP…hip HOP…get it right.  It’s practically all I’ve been listening to since I was 7, although I do take the time to enjoy my oldies (thanks to my parents, real talk), and great music in general across ALL genres (yes, even country).  I’m for it all, but nothing gets me nearly as high as hip hop.

Now, having focused my love for music towards one genre for the majority of its existence, I truly feel like a pioneer of the industry.  Wanna tell me different?  Then fuck you :)   I’m not just a fan of the music.  I”m passionate about this shit.  Not to mention, I’ve been working on my production game for the last few years, but that’s another story.  You’ll see whatcha boy can do.

So in a nutshell, ALMOST all the shit on TV and radio is CORNY.  All you fans buyin’ and bumpin’ the shit are corny, too.  Scratch that.  If you’re bangin’ that shit AND calling yourself a fan of hip hop, then you’re corny.  If you simply enjoy so called “hip hop” music and like to dance to it, then you’re cool.  But don’t be acting like you know something about it when you think T.I., Kanye, Wayne, and Game are the hottest rappers alive.

Anyways, here’s the real reason behind this post.  If you don’t know Slaughterhouse, then don’t ever even attempt to debate with me about hip hop.  If you have heard them, but ain’t feelin’ their shit, then eat a dick!  Haha.  So who in the world is Slaughterhouse, you may be asking?  It’s a “super group” that formed several months back, by 4 of the ILLEST emcess ever, dead or alive.

The amazing part about this collab is the fact that it just happened, without any planning or outreach to one another specifically about it.  Four dudes with some sick ass spit and a whole lot of respect for each other, simply got together and realized their supreme force as a collective.  Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, Jumpoff Joe Beezy, and Nickel Nine.  Don’t even know who they are?  Do your homework kids.

Peace, “BK”

“Aw man, this is hip hop.  Hands up, if you forever a fan of hip hop.  I wake up hip hop, go to sleep hip hop, dream bout hip hop, cuz I AM hip hop…”  – Joell Ortiz
