What’s to come?

So A-Rod, the highest paid major league’er ever, with the fattest contract in major league history, on a path to home run records and a hall of fame career, admits to have used performance enhancing drugs. We knew you weren’t THAT good mutha fucka.

Lebron had his triple double taken away, the Cavs lost to the Lakers, and LA is obviously the team to beat. But more than that, I’m kinda disappointed that we didn’t see much from either of the super stars the past two meetings.

Chris Brown is out on $50,000 bail facing a felony assault case, for possibly battering his girlfriend, Rihanna. Both pop stars missed the Grammy Awards this past Sunday, in which they were supposed to perform.

There were two car chases in LA tonight. The second one ended just a few minutes ago, with the suspect being driven away in an ambulance. It was a white Bentley, rumored to have been driven by DJ Khaled, who possibly may have shot himself?

These are some of the things that keep us entertained through these rough economic times, but let’s not lose focus on the harsh reality that we are currently facing as a people, as a nation, and as a planet. Job losses and unemployment rates seem to be growing exponentially and you don’t have to be a genius to see bad news written all over that. This affects everything and everybody.

President Obama held his first Presidential Press Conference earlier today. Here’s a bit of what he had to say…

It’s pretty obvious that we’re in a state of emergency and I know things are gonna get pretty damn ugly, if we don’t act fast. But remember, Obama isn’t our solution…he’s just the new head coach. He and his administration can draw and call the plays, but we as a nation, need to team the fuck up and help them execute.

Peace, “BK”

P.S. To everybody out there hurting, struggling to find work, getting laid off, and losing hope…keep your heads up and keep fighting…
