So I’m headed back to the motherland this week…”The Land of the Morning Calm”…Korea, that is….SEOUL, Korea, to be exact….and that’s SOUTH Korea, for all you ignorant mutha fuckers still asking, “North or South?” Although I’ve been planning the trip for a while, I almost postponed it, since things around here have been pretty hectic lately. It was a last minute and I decided to cut the original month-long get-away down to 2 weeks, so I can get the fuck back to work…responsible, right? Right.
It’s been almost 4 years since I’ve been home, seen some friends, family, etc…shit, I’ve barely seen my folks in that time. That’s the life of a military brat…separation is nothing new to us…
Anyways, I got a lot on my plate, so I’ll be back real soon. Sure thing for one, we’ll be launching an online summer sale when I get back, so keep it locked for the announcement!! More SPTV to come, as well. Maybe I’ll show y’all a little something about the motherland…
I spotted this on 57thAve.com today…I didn’t even know they had such a thing…and held in Korea? Well, I’ll tell you one thing…I spent a lot of my childhood along that river and if there’s anything that us “Riversiders” will all agree on, it’s how FILTHY that river is! But gaaad damn…a kilometer long tight rope? Crazy…
