By the way, the show this past Friday was off the chain. Opto KILLED it with his new shit and he’s been doing some big things lately…we’ll get some updates from him soon. And Black Milk…the boy is dope. I never really listened to homie like that, but I have a new found appreciation for him after seeing him live. SPTV coverage for both acts are on the way!

Detroit rapper/producer, Black Milk, is in the City of Angels and will be performin’ tonight at the AC Supper Club in Venice. Also on that roster…is our good friend Optimus and he’ll be showcasing a bunch of new joints (from his upcoming White Noise album, I believe). If you’re in LA, come check the shit out…..or GO FUCK YOURSELF!

I apologize for having been off my blogging game recently, but it’s all for good reason (as always). I’ve been busy taking care of this and that, but here’s a few things to look out for in the near future…

For one, the homie Perfecto over at Regal Tenant, has invited us to co-host an in-store signing for Nipsey Hussle, arguably one of the dopest MC’s reppin’ LA and a front runner for the “new west movement”. Also on the roster is DUBCNN, Hood News, Hip Hop Official, and Eazee St, so you already know…this shit is offical. Spinning live on the 1′s and 2′s will be west coast mixtape DJ’s, Nik Bean and Qwess Coast.

This shindig will be goin’ down on Saturday, September 12 at Regal Tenant, located on the NW corner of Pico and La Brea, right across the street from Roscoe’s. Peep the flyer for further details…designed by yours truly. Shout out to my lil cousin, Alex, on the graphics work!

Secondly, me and the big homie Fredro, will soon be launching an online series called “Fredro Starr’s Tales of the Industry” via Sanz Pareil TV. As part of a legendary hip hop group that’s been in the game for nearly 2 decades, you can imagine the stories he has up his sleeve. We’ve been shooting steadily over the past few weeks and have a handful of episodes on deck. Keep it locked right here for further announcements!

I’m no golf-head, but I know that defeating Tiger is a highly unlikely outcome for any challenger. Well, nobody’s perfect and Korean golfer, Y.E. Yang proved it this past weekend, by showcasing a stunning performance and taking the PGA Championship.
