Def Jam, the label that raised hip hop to its most high and then killed it with its commercial greeds, according to KRS-One (and I concur). In case you missed it last night, here is the full show. No Kanye or Lil Mama antics here. But what the fuck is up with replacing the OG Nate Dogg with Trey Songz, of ALL people?? (For Warren G’s “Regulators” performance) That shit was HORRIBLE. Which reminds me, I forgot to post this interview of Sticky and Sonsee last week. Yep, I said Sonsee. Looks like he is back in the mix with the grimy crew, as you can see in their Hip Hop Honors performance of “Slam”.
