Which reminds me, Crook and Nickel have been exchanging some not-so-friendly words with Benzino’s old ass these past several days (via vlog, of course), including a diss track by his most oldness. Apparently, The Source Magazine wanted to do a cover on Slaughterhouse, which they turned down for whatever reasons, and that left Benzino salty. I’m not sure what his current involvement is (with The Source), but he used to be a co-owner and executive for the magazine.
Which brings me to the obvious theory… There have been recent talks about Slaughterhouse signing to Shady records and we all know that Em and Zino haven’t been so fond of each other in past (Em’s “Nail In The Coffin”, one of the best diss tracks ever, btw). So it would make sense for them to have turned down such the interview. Plus Nickel is ol-buddy-ol-pals with Em. At the end of the day, it just is what it is, so Benzino shouldn’t have threw such a fit over it (as if he didn’t know wtf was good). Flashing guns and all that? Come on Zino, fuck outtttaaaa here…
