So you hip hop heads should know that Fat Beats is closing its doors this month, in both LA and NY, and I am honored to have caught some of the action that took place in LA, in tribute to its legacy. Here is some of what went down during this monumental week. By Friday night, which was the “grand finale” show, the bedroom sized venue was jam packed shoulder-to-shoulder, with people flooding out of both ends of the store. The night was blessed with an array of West Coast veterans. See for yourself.
